SOLIDARITY CEREMONY FOR THE VICTIMS
OF THE PHNOM PENH TRAGEDY OF 22 NOVEMBER 2010
Sam Rainsy Party Australia-New Zealand (SRP-ANZ) would like to express our condolences to the families of the dead and our solidarity towards the surviving victims of the Phnom Penh tragedy of 22 November 2010. The steering Committee met in Melbourne on 23 November 2010 in the presence of SRP President Sam Rainsy and decided to organize a religious ceremony to pay respect to the memory of the dead and to collect donations for the surviving victims.
Venue: Wat Buddharangsi Melbourne

Date: Sunday, 28 November 2010, starting at 09:00 am.
We would like to invite all our Cambodian compatriots and their Australian friends to attend this ceremony in order to express our compassion for our unfortunate brothers and sisters in Cambodia.
At the Steering Committee meeting today we immediately raised AU$ 2,015 to donate to the victims.
