Time for another free movie night out to your own home because star Movies will air the best movies of 2010 and the opening for the 1st month of the year will bring great movies for our home. Its pop corn time for everyone and save more money for your next Sunday gimmick and glue yourself to your seats because the line up of Star Movies every Sunday of 9pm is a sure blockbuster.
I've watch the movie of Mel Gibson last January 2, the movie "Edge of Darkness" is a high action movie and it make me stay in our living room and closed my laptop because of the good story and very unpredictable scenes and life of a Boston cop who investigates and hunt his daughter's killers.
Last January 9, I missed the movie "Shanghai" starring John Cusack and Chow yun Fat, I like to watch this movie because of Gong Li, but I think I'll wait for the resched. But the Sunday movie screenings in Star Movies doesn't end there, they still have 3 more movies includng - When in Rome on January 16, Everybody's Fine on January 23 and Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland on January 30.
check the movies below
When in Rome (January 16). Overly romantic but embittered Elizabeth Martin (Kristin Bell) goes to Rome on an impulsive trip and falls in love with reporter Nick Beamon (Josh Duhamel). But then she accidentally ignites the passions of a handful of suitors after picking magic coins from a fountain of love. Street magician Lance (Jon Heder), sausage magnate Al Ruso (Danny DeVito), narcissistic model Gale (Dax Shepard), and painter Antonio (Will Arnett) all fall under the spell. While trying to break the spell, she realizes that one of the coins belongs to Nick. How will she know which love is the real thing?
Everybody’s Fine (January 23). What happens when a father tries to reconnect bonds with his children? Frank (Robert de Niro) has been the perfect family man—working hard for his family and being a caring husband to his wife. But when his wife dies, his main point of contact with his kids also disappears. Now that he tries to reconnect with his kids by going on a cross-country trip to surprise each of his three kids, he discovers that he may never have known his family at all.
Alice in Wonderland (January 30). The age-old classic gets a makeover with Tim Burton’s take on Alice’s adventures in Wonderland. Now a 19-year-old young lady, Alice (Mia Wasikowska) returns to the wonderworld and reunites with her childhood friends and creatures, including the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp). Now, she has to embark on a quest to team up with the White Queen (Anne Hathaway) and end the Red Queen’s (Helena Bonham Carter) reign of darkness.
