The Magneteyes Shadows retail for £2.00.
It's all holographic and shiny! Actually, the packaging is pretty much the same outer case as the Urban Decay Deluxe eye shadows. Down to the clear plastic overlay, mirror and rectangular pan.
Amethyst is a pretty, red toned purple shadow with a good amount of shimmer. It isn't quite metallic (that I can see anyway!).
It becomes much more red-toned on me when applied to the skin, even over a primer. Actually, a primer is essential as I found that this did stain. A little annoying as I had a pile of stuff to swatch at the same time and now I have a red stain on my swatching arm! The shadow was nicely smooth and pigmented. I'd like to see other shades in this range to see how they compare. I tried it wet, as it does say on the outer packaging that you can use it bother wet and dry. However, I still didn't see much of a metallic finish.
It lasted on me about as well as I expected, about 6 hours over a primer before fading. It was just not a good look for me though! Far too red toned for my complexion, I really looked like my eyes had puffed up.
