But the cut out gown did nothing for her stunning face or her figure, it was at worst an attempt at bringing sexy to the red carpet gone bad.
Her styling in the following appearances got better, beginning to erase memories of the tacky outfits from 2003.

Aishwarya finally brought her A game to Cannes in 2005, at the Premiere of ' Lemming', she dazzled in a black Gucci gown. In an appearance where she posed with fellow L'Oreal spokesperson Latitia Casta, she looked Cannes worthy, sexy, elegant and had a head to toe perfect look.
