It's quite reasonably priced at £4.99 but you are only getting 15ml, which is quite a small size. I haven't got ingredient information in front of me and I can't find them on the Boots site, but I should imagine it's the usual silicone/dimethicone/cones kind of mix. It just has that slick, smooth texture that I've seen in several other primers of that nature. I tried to take a photo but I just couldn't get it to show properly. Imagine the translucent/whitish gel of other primers and you've got it.
It smooths very easily over the skin so you must make sure not to use too much. If you apply too much then your foundation is just going to slide right off your face. Foundation does apply very smoothly over the top of this so be careful not to over blend your foundation, particularly the liquids.
The tube tells me it prolongs foundation wear and minimises pores. I don't notice any filling in on of my pores with this but it does make my foundation last longer with this than without. It doesn't control any oil so I notice some oiliness at around 6 hours of wear, especially around my chin.
It's not a bad primer and if you're looking into exploring foundation primers, this is a good affordable way of seeing if you like the silicone based ones.
