Three very different looks, three beautiful women and three dimensions of dressing up. All done well, May I say.

Katrina went dressing down and casual in a floral wrap/cross bust dress which she paired with flats, and minimal make up.

Twinkle Khanna was channelling dressed up in a print dress which she paired with some serious arm candy and a statement necklace.

Suzzane Roshan was flawless in a dressy, minimal navy full skirted dress and black peep toe pumps.

I wasn't too sure about it in the beginning, but I'm really loving this more and more, I find it very flattering and easy to wear.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay In Place Concealer.

This has been my concealer of choice for the whole month, it does a fantastic job!

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua.

What can I say that I didn't already say in my review? It's love!

Givenchy Rouge Interdit in Candide Tangerine.

I have a review planned for this one - it is a very bright orange and I am absolutely in love with the color and the formula. I have been wearing it quite often this month to brighten the foggy days!

Mac Satin Taupe.

This is an eyeshadow that I've owned for a very long time, since it's a must have, but I have really neglected it. I put it in a little quad with my usual higlighters (Brule and Mylar) so I would have to look at it every day, and it worked: I used it quite a lot, it's a great crease color and I can't believe I wasn't using it more before!

HIPPIE CHIC!!!

YAY - Ever since Spring Summer shows predicted back to 70s trend, I've been super excited.

 And then, there was Drew Barrymore making a stunning debut of bringing back the  official 70s vibe in this Chanel maxi dress, studded jacket and cuffs. She kept her hair in line with the rest of the look, full bodied and wavy.

SHEER LOVE.

Having said that, I'm dying to see what the dress looked like on her minus the jacket.

Yesterday's Nails + Blogger Meetup!

Yesterday I had the great pleasure of meeting and hanging out with Jana from Jeweled Tips and I had an absolute blast! It was so fun to meet another blogger and shop for polish together. I don't know if you can related, but sometimes when I'm shopping for nail polish and eagerly rummaging through stock, I get the weirdest looks as though I'm kinda nutty. But since there was two of us, I felt like saying "Hah! See? There's more lacquerheads out there!I'm not the only one."
So what did I wear to this fun polish play date?
Color Club Untamed Luxury from last fall's collection. It's a greenish-teal base with teal glitter. I used three coats, and was quite satisfied at how opaque it was. However, as dazzling as polish was it really dried to a super gritty finish. Even worse was that it ate top coat like crazy- in my pictures I have two coats of Gelous as well as two coats of Barielle No Chip Speed Dry but even that still wasn't enough for a super smooth glassy finish!

Well what exactly did we do on our play date?
We found lacquer goodies at Forever 21 (shamelessly sitting on the floor to sift through their bins of polish), CosmoProf (where I found an OPI Russian Navy Suede on clearance and Jana caved on China Glaze Tronica backups and OPI Mrs. O'Leary's BBQ) and Ulta, where we got Ulta Bombshell and other fun finds. Jana being the awesome person she is, also brought me Color Club's new Alter Ego Keep it Undercover Collection, so now I have tons of stuff to show you!
I had so much fun, and I can't wait to hang out with her again!

NOTD: Love & Beauty (Forever 21) Nail Polish in Coral!

Two (2) Coats of Love & Beauty Coral Nail Polish (No Top Coat)

Coral is a beautiful, vibrant coral-red. When I first purchased this polish, I thought it was going to be "salsa" red - basically an orange/yellow red, but this coral is absent of any yellow tones. It's almost like a vibrant, salmon-coral. I think it's a pretty close dupe to the Essie Escapades Nail Polish from Essie's Summer of '08 Collection. As for the nail polish itself, it is quite sheer with one coat and is very opaque with two. Some may prefer three coats - as when I look at my nail in the light, I can see my nail line. The formula is creamy and dries quickly. I was able to apply a second coat within a minute or two. The finish is actually very shiny, but a top coat is necessary so you won't "nick" your nails.

Spring is almost here, and I'm so excited to see splashes of color on celebs that  it appears can't wait for the season to get here either.

Clemence Posey attended Mulberry Autumn 2011 show at London Fashion week. She wore a yellow dress  with  pleats with a waist defining brown belt and black tights. Love the styling!

Sonic the hedgehog 20th anniversary comics

I can't believe that Sonic is already 20 years old. I remember that I play this game in a video game rental shop in Caloocan City. I finished the game multiple times already, but I still don't have the patience on completing those gems, but there's one game event that I played and I almost completed the gems, kainis at one gem was left on that warp zone like scene with that rotating screen..so crazy! I also have that GamePro magazine reading tips about those gems.

Now they will release a comic book based on the video game. Finally! after 20 years aahahaa.
Let's shout together..... SEGAAAAAA!!!

Az & Ash's new passport is here! - we will travel around the world soon!

Our new passport is here yay! and my little league of superheroes are excited because the coverage and travel will go to infinity and beyond! There are some action and drama during the process of getting this passport and it all started in one office and then to another one and to a xerox machine and an event.

Check out me and Ash's photo headshot in our passport, and Mr. Incredible Hulk is upset because I didn't got a new hair cut that time. Ashton's photo is so cute, but unfortunately that I went back the other day to DFA after claiming our passport, his name is mispelled and its all my fault :( we paid another fee, a total of P900 for an automatic renewal of Ash's passport.


at the DFA office at the photo section, I'm glad that they have a courtesy lane for applicants with kids, and its an easy way for me and Ash to get our application fast and photo head shot for the passport, on the 2nd application for Ash, the DFA guy got a hard time calling Ashton to look on their Canon camera. Mommy Lace was there with us to double check herself that I won't have the same mistake on the 1st application hehhee.

Here's what it look outside and inside the Passport claiming area, I wish that DFA office can expand this area, because people are staying in a small area and if they fall in line in front of the counter, it turns a little chaotic to see them like a sardines in an open space infront of the crowdy metallic bench.

But in the end..... I finally did it!!!
Passport is here..and now wait for the time to fly!! HK...Singapore..Malaysia..Taiwan..Australia..Japan..and USA!! ...... and Disneyland..omigosh!

The pain of falling in line and waiting just paid off and my adventure began in here


Applying for an NBI Clearance
The horror of my life just started here, I avoid claiming this NBI clearance all my life because I hear stories about falling in line for eternity. But here, I just lined up and finished my NBI Clearance application for just.... 5 hours.. yeah 5 hours lang naman..its a short time..... 2 hours standing up getting a form....and another 2 hours for falling in line to enter the cashier booth, and an hour of photo capture and that clearing counter.


another Horror is getting an NSO certificate for Ash's birth certificate and my Marriage Certificate to Lace.


Its just a 4 hour stay at the NSO. My time should be 3 hours, because that stupid security guard told me to wait for my name in their other office at the back to claim my NSO papers. And I didn't know that I suppose to submit my receipt to him and send it to the counter. The horror started after 1 hour of waiting to nothing. I can even memorize Alodia's GLOBE tv ad that was playing on tv over and over again. I want to get mad to that guard, but I stayed calm and submitted my receipt directly to the counter.


It's a crazy week for me after accomplishing 3 kinds of document that has a proof that I exist in this world..

okay..that's me sleeping inside the shuttle going to SM Mall of Asia. I'm happy after it because I meet up with Lace and Ash in SM MOA and attended that Tang Pulpy event.

coverage: EA Arena games @ SM Cyberzone

SM Cyberzone organized a gaming event last month in SM North Edsaand I got the time to check it out after my travel adventure in Tagaytay City. Its an EA Arena event featuring their latest game console titles like the NBA Jam, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit and Deep Space 2 game. I tried the 3 kinds of games that day and my hour of stay is "bitin" after been hooked on the Deep Space 2 game.

It's a free game for all, but there's a time limit on each game and you have to line up and register on the list and go back to play the game again.


NBA Jam in PS3
I'm very addicted to this game since it was released in SNES, my favorite team back then was Portland Trail Blazers, and this time I played on the Lakers side. The game is like the old SNES game, but I'm having some problems using all the buttons. Maybe if I play it again, I might master the moves. But after a 20 minute game trial, I figure out on how to steal and do a cool slam dunk.

Dead Space 2
Its my first time to try this game on the Xbox 360, you know that I hate RPG games, but when I tried it its not that RPG-first person shooter game, its a cool suspense thriller first person shooter, never mind about the talkies,but I love how the story goes and the thrill of playing as a spaceman trying to survive on that space station and gather those junk to form a space armor and weapon. Best to play with a a headphone , the screams and chills will be heard and you will feel that you are inside the Dead Space 2 game. I like this game! it reminds of me playing that "The Thing" Pc game.
